Opportunities on Bechtel Major Projects
Bechtel are currently working on a range of major projects, from
offices based in London. Below is a selection of the projects and
an explanation of what they involve. If you’re interested in

Khursaniyah Gas Plant (KGP) Project
A Bechtel-Technip joint venture was awarded a contract March 16
by Saudi Aramco to build new natural gas processing facilities at
Khursaniyah, near Jubail Industrial City in Saudi Arabia's Eastern
Province.
Bechtel-Technip will provide engineering, procurement, construction,
commissioning, and startup services for Saudi Aramco's Khursaniyah
Gas Plant, including two gas-conditioning trains as well as ethane
and natural gas liquids recovery units. The complex will process
up to 1 billion standard cubic feet (28.3 million cubic meters) per
day of natural gas, able to produce 550 million standard cubic feet
(15.6 million cubic meters) per day of sales gas, 240,000 barrels
per day of ethane and natural gas liquids, and 1,800 metric tons
per day of sulfur.
The complex will process natural gas from three onshore fields in
the Eastern Province: Abu Hadriya, Fadhili, and Khursaniyah.
OGD III Gas Expansion Project
Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Company (GASCO), the onshore gas-processing
subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has awarded
Bechtel the $1.5 billion Onshore Gas Development (OGD) III project
to expand production of the oil and gas field in Habshan, Abu Dhabi,
United Arab Emirates. The project will run from December 2004 to
April 2008, and the scope of work covers engineering, procurement,
and construction (EPC) and commissioning Reliance
Bechtel provided conceptual, basic and detailed engineering, as well
as procurement and construction management services for this $4.5
billion project to build the world's largest grassroots refinery.
